Youth Congress workers burn Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s effigy in Punjab on Dussehra. They did it on Dussera in protest against the Farm Bill 2020.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has slammed this move. Calling it a new low for the grand old Party Congress.
Instead of condemning such acts, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi claimed that these protests are manifestations of anger (Times Now reported). In his Tweet, Rahul Gandhi said “This happened all over Punjab yesterday. It’s sad that Punjab is feeling such anger towards the PM.
This is a very dangerous precedent and is bad for our country.
PM should reach out, listen, and give a healing touch quickly.”
