BREAKING NEWS: US Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas, is under lockdown due to active shooter

US Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland is on lockdown Wednesday afternoon due to a report of an active shooter.

Just before 12:30 p.m., base officials issued an alert to all base personnel informing them of the situation. The lockdown was confirmed by base public affairs.
