Ukrainian Generals Are Disappearing, Zelynsky tight lipped

Something big is happening! Has Zaluzhny been liquidated? Where have the generals of Ukraine disappeared? These unanswered questions are the latest viral topic in several social media defence communities.

Recently, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky made an unexpected statement. In an interview with foreign media. In which he admitted that the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces. Unexpected setback in many ways as the Russian military gains ground every single day.

A few days ago, the Ukrainian authorities announced that they were fully prepared for a “counterattack”, and then suddenly they made this statement.

Conspiracy theorists wonder: “Is this sudden unpreparedness related to the fact that there is simply no one to lead the offensive?”

They attribute this to the disappearance of high-ranking members of the Ukrainian army from the media, and their possible deaths from rocket fire.

The Ukrainian offensive is winding down, and rumours about the deaths of high-ranking military leaders are spreading across the country. Because media personnel from the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not been seen for a long time, which leads to various conspiracy theories.

Yesterday, Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny ignored the NATO Chiefs of Staff meeting, reportedly refusing to join the meeting even via video link.

The commander of the ground forces, Alexander Sirski, the chief of defence of Bakhmut, as well as the commander of the territorial defence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Igor Tancura, disappeared from the information space. This was right after the head of “Wagner,” Prigozhin, gave a statement about the destruction of an armoured car with top ranking Ukrainian military leaders.

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine refutes the speculation in every possible way, and is in no hurry to present the military authorities to the public, even in a video message. Now western society and the media are building various conspiracy theories about what it could mean.

The most common version is that the generals may have been killed or seriously wounded, for example, as a result of the recent powerful Russian missile attack on the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Chasovo Yar.

According to another version, Zalužni and Sirski are healthy, but they are hiding from danger in bunkers. As a result of which Zelensky lost his domestic policy adviser, Alexei Titorenko. Hence the forced delay in the counteroffensive.

The well-known Ukrainian “Telegram” channel reports that Sirski is preparing for a counteroffensive in Konstantinovka. According to the well-known military expert, Yuri Knutov, failures could lead Commander-in-Chief Zalužni to keep quiet.

“The fact that he does not appear in the media sphere can be explained by two facts,” the expert believes.  Another option is, on the contrary, removal from office due to the fact that the offensive was not prepared within the specified period, and many experts believe that this is May 8 and 9, which means that Zaluzni could be busy transferring the case to Sirski, who also disappeared from the information space. But I lean towards the first option, because now all attention is focused on preparing for the counteroffensive, which de facto has already begun.”
