Afghanistan airstrike eliminates 22 Pakistani Al Qaeda terrorists

Afghanistan defence ministry says that 22 Pakistani terrorists of Al Qaeda were killed in Helmand province in an Afghan airstrike.

In the past 24 hours, 22 members of the al-Qaeda network in the Indian subcontinent have been killed in a security operation in Helmand province, the Ministry of Defense has said.

The ministry added that these al-Qaeda members hailed from Punjab in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, President Ashraf Ghani addressed a gathering in Kabul today and said that 59 school buildings were inaugurated in 22 provinces. President Ghani said that as the international troops are leaving, going forward, the people and the government of Afghanistan will decide on national issues.
