Retired Indian Navy veteran Madhan Sharma, who was allegedly thrashed by Shiv Sena members has joined BJP and RSS. The veteran was attacked for sharing a political meme about Shive Sena leader and CM of Maharashtra.
In his statement, the veteran has stated that he has joined BJP and RSS. We will not let any Gondaism happen in Maharashtra, he said.
Madan Sharma met Governor of Maharashtra BS Koshyari and said ” I have asked the governor for President Rule. He assured that he will speak with the central government on this issue”.
Navy Veteran fumed “Why is lay seen in tow different ways? if someone is connected to a politician, then he will be treated differently compared to a common man”.
After exiting the Raj Bhavan, the Navy Veteran reclaimed about his conversation with the governor. As per his statement, he apprised the Governor about the incident and complained about the section under which the goons who attacked him arrested was a week.
“The governor assured me that he’ll take action on my memorandum. I demanded that state government be dismissed, President Rule’s be imposed. He assured he will speak to the Centre.” he added.
Allegedly, Shiv Sena in its mouthpiece Saamna’ took a wild jibe at Madan Sharma for not knowing how to respect the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Those mobs who targeted Madan Sharma was arrested and later granted bail in less than 24 hours as alleged by some Indian media.
The issue has sparked protests against the ruling government in Maharashtra lead by Shiv Sena.
