According to the details, the Riyadh oil refinery of Saudi Arabia has been attacked by Houthi rebels. As a result of which a fire broke out in the refinery. This is the second attack by Houthi rebels on Saudi Arabia’s energy installations in the past month, according to a foreign news agency.
A statement from Saudi Arabia’s energy ministry said the fire at the Riyadh oil refinery had been contained but that no one had been killed or injured in the attack. The energy ministry called the attack an attack on the global economy and energy security.
The Houthi rebels, meanwhile, have claimed responsibility for the attack, saying they attacked the oil refinery with six drones. It is a response to the “cruel actions” of the Saudi coalition fighting in Yemen.
