India has returned the captured PLA soldier along LAC

As a goodwill gesture Indian Army has returned the Chinese PLA soldier today.

The PLA soldier, who went missing while helping herdsman find yak near China India border on Sunday, has been returned to Chinese border troops by Indian army early on Wednesday, PLA News reported.

Chinese state run media mouthpiece global times reported “The Indian army’s decision to return a Chinese soldier is viewed as a positive sign ahead of the eighth round of China-India commander-level talks this week.”

However, the Global Times called upon India to do more than this to peace to prevail along the border areas. India and China locked in a military standoff since early may this year. Escalation began when China instructed in to the Indian territories in Eastern Ladakh sectors.

China’s neighbours blame the communist regime for using the crisis created due to the spread of Chinese Corona Virus. To further its expansionist ambitions like Hitler it in World War 2.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said at a press briefing on Tuesday that China hopes India hands over the soldier as soon as possible and works with China to promote the implementation of the consensus reached at the 7th round of talks.
