In 1975-76, the Indian Govt. led by Mrs. Indira Feroze Khan Gandhi imposed a draconian term called “Secularism” in a dictatorship-manner. With a stroke of pen, Mrs. Khan changed the Indian Constitution that day & till day the Majority Population of India is feeling its side effects. The successive governments have added this term into their policies, rules & politics as well.
A very unfortunate incident happened in Hathras, UP which led to death of a 19 year old Dalit girl. The Liberal Gang immediately took to the task and started targeting CM Yogi led BJP Govt. in UP. Highlighting the caste of culprits & Victim. The CM Yogi led Govt. has expressed their grief, offered the victim family all the help needed.
But the same Liberal Gang was silent & careful with its words in Balrampur case where the culprit belonged to Muslim community. Its same across the country, where the outrage is selective depending on the caste of victim and religion of culprit. But this selective silence is leading in growth of attacks against women. The attack on women should be the main worry of the Govt. & its Opposition, but they are more worried about the caste, religion & status of the victims & Culprits.
The BJP Govt. ordered a SIT investigation immediately in the Hathras case, but is taking time in cases of Love Jihad Cases. The pattern in which Hindu women are being targeted by the Muslim youth is not talked about by the Liberal Gang, the way they talk about the caste of victim & Culprits.
Even the Indian state seems to be following this trend. In 2012, when whole Nation was shocked due to Nirbhaya case, the Delhi Govt. led by Kejriwal offered the Juvenile Rape convict Mohd. Afroz Rs.10000/- for a tailor shop. But the same Kejriwal takes a moral highground in Hathras Case.
But the Hue and Cry by Left Leaning parties indicate that they just need the rape victim, culprits & their families to achieve their political motives. Even if the BJP Govt. brings in strict law for rape cases, I’m afraid the Left leaning Parties will still protect the culprit based on his religion & will not allow its implementation.
As citizens of India, we really need to be sensitive when we put out a comment on rape cases. Highlighting castes and religions will serve no good. Demand the Govt. & its opposition for strict laws & not just that but also make sure that’s implemented in a proper & effective way.
