Just In: Massive gun fights between Terrorists and US Coalition troops in Kabul Airport

BREAKING: Explosion and gunfire near Kabul Airport. Multiple casualties being reported after a huge explosion at the Kabul airport and an exchange of gunfire between coalition and possible suicide bombers.

Just hours before, The Italian military says a C-130 transport plane came under fire as it left the Kabul airport in Afghanistan today.

The plane was carrying former Afghan NATO workers as evacuations continue.
No damage to the plane was reported. As well as there were no casualties on the plane.


A large explosion and gunfire has been reported near one of the gates at Kabul Airport, officials and witnesses say. There are unconfirmed reports of multiple casualties.

The incident happened on late Thursday afternoon while thousands of people are trying to flee Afghanistan, where the Taliban has seized control.

“We can confirm an explosion outside Kabul airport. Casualties are unclear at this time,” Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said. “We will provide additional details when we can.”

Jennifer Griffin, a national security correspondent for Fox News, cited a U.S. official as saying that a suicide bombing had taken place at Abbey Gate. Afghan journalist Bilal Sarwary said a number of people have died. BNO Newe reported too.
