Explosive was set on the blue bike, with Nasheed’s residence being on this road. He was outside with his bodyguard on way to car when the explosive went off.
Mohamed Nasheed, GCSK is a Maldivian politician, current Speaker of the People’s Majlis since May 2019 and formerly the fourth President of the Maldives from 2008 to 2012. He was the first democratically elected president of the Maldives and one of the founders of the Maldivian Democratic Party.
