Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping to hold virtual meeting during the BRICS summit

Both the leaders to take part in the BRICS summit on the theme, " BRICS Partnership for Global Stability, Shared Security and Innovative Growth”. 

Amid the border clashes and tensions between India and China will come face to face for the first time.

PM Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping to hold a virtual meeting during the BRICS summit. This will be the 1st meeting between the 2 leaders since the Indo-China standoff.

Both the leaders to take part in the BRICS summit on the theme, ” BRICS Partnership for Global Stability, Shared Security and Innovative Growth”.

Five Countries will be looking forward to strengthening their partnership and grow the ties further. Well, quite drastically opposite to what China does with India.

India and China have deployed thousands of troops on both sides along with area weapons aiming at each other.

China has lost 62 soldiers in a scuffle with Indian troops when they tried to infiltrate into Galwan Valley. The Situation is very tense at the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
