Stand United Football Cup
28 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of 8 Sect RR is inaugurated “Stand United Football Cup” on 27 Oct 2020 at Model Vill, Chandigam.
A total of 16 teams are participating in the tournament from across the valley. The tournament will be conducted on League cum Knockout basis.
The first match was played between Valley Football Club, Kupwara and Mars Football Club, Dorus.
The aim of the tournament is to strengthen the bond between Army and Youth and give the message that “Jawan and Awam Stand United”.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Mr Shahzad Mattoo, DSP Sogam, Mr Tauseef Ah, SHO Sogam, Mr Mohd Shafi, Principal GDC Sogam and various other dignitaries.
