Prime Minister of Poor Nepal Oli gets state of the art luxury helipad!

In Nepal A state-of-the-art helipad has been installed at Nepali Prime Minister’s KP sharma Oli residence at Baluwatar. This helipad will be used for Prime Minister’s personal use. Nepal is among the least developed countries in the world, with about one-quarter of its population living below the poverty line. Nepal is heavily dependent on remittances, which amount to as much as 30% of GDP.

Press advisor of Prime Minister Oli Surya Thapa said that a state-of-the-art helipad has been constructed in Baluwatar as per norms of Civil Aviation Authority. But did not mention the cost or purpose. It is rumoured to be for a personal secret helicopter ride for the Chinese envoy for Nepal. Some say that she is now in full control over actions of current prime minister.

Of the people living in Nepal, 25 percent are living below the poverty line, on 50 cents per day. This makes Nepal one of the poorest countries in the world. Rates of disease, malnutrition and child mortality are high. Fortunately, Nepal has experienced slight economic growth in the past few years.

In 2016, for every 1,000 children born in Nepal, 35 died before their fifth birthday. This can be attributed to lack of health care and education access in impoverished regions, and there are many such regions in Nepal.
