JUST IN – Officer-involved shooting in Portland. Police shot and killed a man in Lents Park after responding to reports of an armed subject.
There is now further confirmation that a PPB officer shot and killed a Portland resident this morning at Lents Park.
There are some witness reports of a person in mental distress, as well as police/911 claims.
We are sick and tired of police violence and structural failures said a neighbour.Police said they got a 911 call at 9:30 this morning. Portland police have not confirmed the condition of the person shot. Lots of honking and a yelling from people around the tape.
