Reliance Industries brings Oxygen support as India battles the Chinese Virus

While India suffocates in the scarcity of medical oxygen, Indian corporate company Reliance comes to its rescue. Known for India focus and revolutionary products the Reliance has been at the forefront of India’s development story.

The unfortunate second Chinese virus COVID-19 wave has struck India very hard. The country is facing a national emergency with lakhs of covid cases across the country. Due to which the availability of medical care facilities has become seriously affected in the country in the past few weeks. The nation is witnessing the greatest challenge and worst kind of medical emergency after the independence war victory against the Britishers.

To meet India’s medical oxygen needs, Reliance Industries has come to the rescue. Today Reliance produces 11% of the total medical oxygen production in the country. In April 2021 alone, Reliance supplied over 15,000 MT of Medical Grade Liquid Oxygen free of cost.

In its statement released today, Reliance has said “Reliance Industries rallies its resources on a war footing to become India’s largest producer of Medical Grade Liquid Oxygen from single location. Produces over 11% of India’s total production of Medical Grade Liquid Oxygen-meeting needs of nearly every 1 in 10 patients.

RIL ramps up production of Medical Grade Liquid Oxygen from near zero to 1000 MT per day free of charge. 1000 MT of oxygen to meet the needs of over 1 lakh people everyday on an average.

Chairman Mukesh Ambani personally supervising scale-up of production and transportation at Jamnagar. In April 2021, Reliance supplied over 15,000 MT of Medical Grade Liquid Oxygen free of cost – helping nearly 15 lakh patients.

Reliance airlifted 24 ISO containers for transporting Oxygen – creating an additional 500 MT of transportation capacity for India. Since thanks to ARAMCO, BP and IAF for their help in sourcing & transportation. More ISO containers being airfreighted over the next few days.” The Reliance Industries has said.
