Taliban denies Pakistan allegations on TTP freedom fighters presence in Afghanistan

‘Death to Pakistan’ new chorus from Taliban? Things might dive south soon for Pakistan. With anti Pakistani terrorists groups getting support from Taliban foot soldiers.

“There are no Pakistani Taliban in Afghanistan, nor is there a place for them here” – Zabihullah Mujahid. Zabiullah Mujahid is an official spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. He has long served as one of several spokesmen for the Taliban, the others being Suhail Shaheen and Yousef Ahmadi.

This doesn’t look good for Pakistan. The Taliban saying Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is not present in Afghanistan. This essentially means there will be no action against the group as it’s not present in Afghanistan. Taliban Movement in Pakistan’ abbr. TTP), alternatively referred to as the Pakistani Taliban. Is a Pashtun Islamist armed student group that is an umbrella organization of various student militant groups based along the Afghan–Pakistani border.

Most Taliban groups in Pakistan coalesce under the TTP. In December 2007, about 13 groups united under the leadership of Baitullah Mehsud to form the TTP.

Among the stated objectives of TTP is resistance against the Pakistani state. The TTP aims to overthrow the government of Pakistan by waging a terrorist campaign against the Pakistan armed forces and the state. The TTP depends on the tribal belt along the Afghanistan–Pakistan border, from which it draws its recruits. The TTP receives ideological guidance from and maintains ties with al-Qaeda.

TTP has formidable army in Syria:

There are unconfirmed reports that the TTP have set up camps and sent hundreds of fighters to Syria to fight alongside rebels opposed to Bashar al-Assad to strengthen ties with al Qaeda. TTP commanders in Pakistan said that they had decided to join the cause, saying hundreds of fighters had gone to Syria to fight alongside their “Mujahedeen friends”.

The TTP commander described the Arab fighters as their friends. The media reported the visit and setup of a TTP base in Syria to assess “the needs of the jihad”.

The TTP commander said: “Since our Arab brothers have come here for our support, we are bound to help them in their respective countries and that is what we did in Syria”

At least 12 experts in information technology and warfare were sent to Syria in mid-2013 to aid the groups opposed to Bashar Assad.

All in all, the Pakistan establishment will the one suffering for helping the Talibani terrorists successful invasion of Afghanistan. At the same time getting bashed by the world for destabilising the entire world.
