Unknown Mini Submarine Pops up in Karachi, Pakistan

Pakistan’s covert terrorist squad known to have been using several methods to intrude into India. India and Afghanistan has been under the harassment of Pakistani groups for decades. But the latest expose of unknown ‘Mini Submarine’ at the port of Karachi has created new headache for India.

An Open Source Intelligence(OSINT) account on Twitter has published a fresh image of unknown ‘Mini Submarine ‘ of Pakistan.

In 2020, An official video (on Twitter) of the Passing Out Parade of the latest Pakistan Navy SEAL Course provides fresh OSINT (Open Source intelligence) on Pakistan’s unreported midget submarine. The parade was held at PNS Iqbal in Karachi, which is home of the Pakistan Navy’s Special Service Group (SSG (N)). The parade comprised of officers & sailors, who completed rigorous training in line with the elite unit’s high standards.

The Chief Guest, COMCOAST, Vice Admiral Fasial Rasul Lodhi congratulated the Navy SEALs awarded the prizes. In the background was a rare, possibly unique, glimpse at the mystery midget submarine.

The submarine is a small special forces type, measuring around 55 feet long by 7 to 8 feet across. It appears to have single-hull construction with a raised casing, at least along the forward section. The sail is very small, and possibly mounted further after than normal. Possibly this allows torpedo tubes to be carried under the forward casing.

The boat first appeared in 2016. This may tie to a statement in the Pakistan Defence Production Division (MoDP) 2015-16 yearbook. It listed the “Indigenous design and construction of 01 Midget Submarine” as a target for 2016-2017. The covert shores reports published on 2020 stated.

But now the clear satellite image has been acquired by an OSINT handle on Twitter. The image clearly shows the design of the submarine.

The handle goes by the name @detresfa_ tweeted “#Pakistan’s unknown type mini sub at #Karachi finally seen without the tarpaulin cover, a story chased with @CovertShores for sometime now”

Pakistani terrorists launched a massive terrorist attacks on India. On November 26, 12 years back, ten Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists from Pakistan reached Mumbai by sea route and lay siege to the city for over 60 hours. They unleashed mayhem in the city killing 166 people, including 18 security personnel, and injuring several others.

Nine terrorists were killed by the security forces, while one Ajmal Amir Kasab was captured alive. Kasab was hanged four years later on November 21, 2012.

Only Pakistan’s establishment know when these mini submarines will be used to launch another terrorists attack on Indian People. But Indian security forces are alert after several terrorist attacks by the Pakistani Military and proxy units.
