BREAKING NEWS UK: Smoke was seen rising from Houses iconic of Parliament building in London. A video has surfaced on social media that shows dark smoke coming out of the UK Parliament Building. The nature and cause of the fire are still not known. Loud Alarm sounds also can be heard in this video. This video was first shared by an Indian Journalist on Twitter.

According to Sky News four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to the incident.
London Fire Brigade tweeted: “Firefighters were called to reports of smoke coming from some flats on Parliament Square in #Westminster this morning.
“The smoke was caused by a generator starting up.
“There is no fire at the Palace.
“Normal venting of steam was seen by a member of the public who called the fire brigade.
“Due to the cold weather it seems the steam looks more prominent that usual but it is a routine procedure done regularly.”
The Commons told Express.co.uk it was “just steam”, but have not explained the reason for the fire alarm sounding.
This comes just days after MPs were warned they will have to move out to allow urgent repairs to the building.

Senior MPs have insisted the repair work should carry on around them but the Restoration and Renewal Sponsor Body said the pandemic has shown sessions can bee carried out by Zoom.
The organisation warned MPs: “The case remains that the Houses of Parliament are falling apart faster than they can be fixed, with maintenance costs rapidly increasing and more than 40,000 problems reported since 2017. (Express UK)
