A HUGE CONCERN, has broken out, The Chinese Mobile maker ‘Xiaomi’ made smartphones bans Arunachal Pradesh. In support of Chinese Communist Party’s stand that China does not recognise Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh as part of India.

The news was first shared by an India’s biggest tech Youtuber “Gaurav Chaudhary” also known as “Technical Guruji”. He tweeted this notorious and sinister move by the Chinese Mobile Phone maker Xiaomi.

This is exactly what China says. China illegally claims Indian Territories of Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh. Just in early April and May Chinese PLA troops illegally intruded into eastern Ladakh. Which has now turned into tense military standoff at the border region. As talks failed to make breakthrough, due to their arrogance nature.

There were reports that Xiaomi’s Cloud messaging service sends some private data, including call logs and contact information, to Xiaomi servers. Xiaomi later released an MIUI update that made cloud messaging optional: Xiaomi claimed that no private data was sent to Xiaomi servers if the cloud messaging service was turned off.

In October 2014, Xiaomi announced that they were setting up servers outside of China for international users, citing improved services and compliance to regulations in several nations. Around the same time, the Indian Air Force issued a warning against Xiaomi phones, stating that they were a national threat as they sent user data to an agency of the Chinese government.

In a tweet on June 24, Jain had said Xiaomi’s Redmi Note9 Pro Max was out of stock in less than 50 seconds during a sale. “The Confederation Of All India Traders (CAIT) today came down heavily on Manu Kumar Jain, India Chief of Chinese Smartphone maker Xiaomi for his most insensitive and disrespectful statements deeply hurting the sentiments of millions of Indians for saying that the Boycott Chinese sentiment exists only on social media,” the traders’ body said in a statement.

CAIT Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal said the people of India have started to align with the boycott China sentiment on the ground and various celebrities too have joined the movement.

On 17 October 2020, a big problem is noticed in the Indian variant of Xiaomi smartphones that the default weather app is not showing the weather of Arunachal Pradesh and cities of the same state.
