Azerbaijani forces are reportedly inside the town of Shushi. The town is just south of Stepankert, the capital of the Republic of Artsakh.
Shusha, or Shushi, is a city in the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh in the South Caucasus. It is de jure part of Shusha District of Azerbaijan, but is currently under de facto control of the unrecognised Republic of Artsakh as part of its Shushi Province.
