BRO’s ‘Untraceable’ Road Make China Nervous: Here Is Why

Rattled by Indian Army’s latest defensive offence at LAC, Chinese are getting restless as Border Roads Organisation (BRO) almost completed third strategic border road “The Nimmu- Padam-Darcha Road”.

As situations are escalating fast BRO is fighting with time to complete several strategic road projects which will provide seamless access for Indian troops deployments.

The latest Nimmu- Padam-Darcha Road completion news is very special one strategically and giving never-ending nightmare for China. NPD Road which is nearing completion is said to be ‘Untraceable’ by the enemy’s and provides 365 days all-weather access to the border locations.

Exclusively build for strategic purpose, This road will cut down the travel time by half. Through old road, it tools 12-15 course to reach Leh from Manali. But now with this new one Indian troops can reach Manali in just 6-7 hours.

Unlike the previous old road used for mobilisation are visibly exposed to the enemy closer to the international borders. So now Indian Army troops movement can take place much faster and Much safer way.

Also as per experts, New road will be operational throughout the year unlike the old Srinagar – Kargil-Leh and Manali- Sarchu-Leh roads which are accessible only for 7 months.

As per the latest announcement by BRO, New road is open for traffic and heavy vehicle movements. Expect for 30 km stretch as of now. which will also be completed as soon as possible. This road is 258 km long overall. This route is mainly in use for supplying goods and personnel.

This was under Pakistan heavy firing during the Kargil war of 1999. And was also used to get bombarded by shells for high altitude place of Pakistani. As the route is in low attitude.

So the newly constructed road will give the Indian Army and troops a safe route with a better operating environment.
