Huawei to halt high-end phone business: Huge Setback

Hit with technology embargo by the United States, Huawei to stop high-end phone production as it runs out of processors. 

The notorious Chinese Tech giant beloved to have involved in fraud and information theft. The US earlier alleged that Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou committed fraud by lying to American banks about her connection with Iran firm. That was a breach of sanctions on Iran as per US justice official. 

Huawei has announced that it has a stockpile of about 10 million Kirin 9000 chips that will support shipments for the next half-year. 

Recently The US government has banned shipments of semiconductors to Huawei Technology from any chip makers around the globe. 

This has seen as yet another set back for Chinese technology giant as it will soon run out of high-end chips namely the Kirin 9000 chips. Huawei will release the Mate 40 series model in very small numbers until the stocks are exhausted. 

Taiwanese based company TSMC announced that it will stop shipping semiconductor to Huawei after mid-September. Which will comply with US sanctions. 

So far Huawei is known to hold about 10 million kirin chips from now on. So one can expect at least 10 million Mate 40 Pro available for consumers. Though the future is uncertain for the Chinese company. 

Several countries are beginning to ban Chinese imports.  Mainly due to the aggressive behaviour of the Chinese government towards its neighbours.
