India has successfully tested Standoff Anti-tank Guided Missile (SANT)

Huge Victory for Indian defense scientists. Today, India has successfully conducted the flight tests of its indigenously developed Standoff Anti-tank Guided Missile (SANT) off Odisha coast.

The missile is an upgraded version of Helina equipped with a new nose-mounted active radar homing seeker wth extended range, up to 15–20.

Amidst the tensions with China and Pakistan at the border region, India is conducting and indicating flurry of missiles. Multiple missiles have been tested successfully in the past few weeks.

As per the defence sources more such missile tested are expected in coming days and months
