Israel Nuclear site at Dimona under ballistic missile attack

Iran’s IRGC Backed Syrian Hezbollah launched a ballistic missile (Probably Tashrin or Fateh-110) from North of Syria at Shimon Perez Nuclear site of Israel at Dimona. Israel Air Defense Command fired a MIM-104D via Patriot Air DefenceSystem (PAC-2/GEM+) at the missile. Israeli airforce has scrambled dozens of fighter jets.

Reports of explosions heard near Jerusalem, Beersheeba, Dimona and multiple other locations amid rocket sirens in Israel. (As per early reports suggests)

Security sources say Israeli jets have been “scrambled.”

Some local sources claim a rocket or missile may have been intercepted near Dimona, Israel.

The Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center (Hebrew: קריה למחקר גרעיני – נגב ע”ש שמעון פרס‎, formerly the Negev Nuclear Research Center, unofficially sometimes referred to as the Dimona reactor) is an Israeli nuclear installation located in the Negev desert, about thirteen kilometers south-east of the city of Dimona.

Others say residences near the area shook during the explosion. Security sources in Israel seem unanimous that no rockets crossed from Gaza, so all eyes on the Syria border.

Claims of a Patriot interception would suggest a larger-than-normal projectile, so suspicion may fall onto Iran. Dimona is home to Israel’s nuclear facility.

Suffice to say, if Iran or an IRGC proxy launched any kind of missiles towards Dimona and Israel’s nuclear facility, Netanyahu will almost certainly find no other option but to hit back very hard.

Amid “progress” on the indirect US-#Iran talks, this would throw a *huge* curveball.
