Initial reports of a serious helicopter crash near Mishmar HaNegev in southern Israel , casualties feared.

Mishmar HaNegev is a kibbutz in the northern fringe of the Negev desert in Israel. Located on Road 264, about two kilometres south of the Bedouin city of Rahat and around ten kilometres from Beersheba, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bnei Shimon Regional Council. In 2019 its population was 1,005.

The Cause of the ill fated helicopter crash yet to be known.

Massive emergency response at the area (between Rahat and the kibbutz of Mishmar HaNegev). The helicopter was civilian and not military or police. Casualties feared.
