Tensions between Russia and the US is once again increasing, as a warship of the US Navy enters Russian waters. Russian response was immediate with dire warning. After which the US warship had to return to the international waters. Issue has been raised at diplomatic level. Russian destroyer was sent in to ward off the intruding US warship.
A Russian warship caught a U.S. Navy destroyer operating illegally in Russia’s territorial waters near the Sea of Japan, but chased it off, Russia’s defence ministry said on Tuesday.
It said in a statement that the U.S ship had returned to neutral waters after being warned by a Russian destroyer, Admiral Vinogradov.
