Second violent terror attack reported in France. This time an unidentified man was shot dead by the French Police in Avignon after he tried to attack police with a knife while shouting Allah-u-Akbar. The first attack was in Nice, France where three were killed brutally.

Nice Mayor Christian Estrosi said the knife attack had happened in or near Nice’s Notre Dame church and that police had detained the attacker. The mayor also described the incident as terrorism.
Police and officials have confirmed that the attacker beheaded a woman and killed two other people in the attack. The French interior ministry has said that security and rescue forces are at the site and urged residents to avoid the area.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has supported these terror attacks on France in the name of religion. Entire France is now in a high state of alert. President of France has categorically stated that the fight against Islamic extremism will continue.
