Encounter enraged at the Rambagh area of Srinagar today. Security forces cordoned the area and initiated the operations.
Two terrorists including a Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Saifullah and a Pakistani were trapped in the Barzulla area of Srinagar. The other LeT terrorist is local as per the media report. Saifullah was involved in the attack on CRPF jawans on September 24th in which one ASI attained martyrdom.
LeT Commander Saifullah said to be killed. More than 180 terrorists have been killed in encounters in Jammu and Kashmir this year so far.
However, the recruitment of local youth joining terror ranks continues to be a cause of concern with 130 joining various terror outfits supported and funded by Pakistan this year.
