Situation Unprecedented at LAC- Indian Foreign Secretary on Indochina Border

As the standoff between India and China have to escalate, The Indian foreign secretary has that the situation along the India-China border is ‘Unprecedented.”

Me. Shingle said that situation, is very tense and the size and magnitude of troops building up is something never witnessed before in recent years.

“The recent standoff at LAC is one of the most serious challenges India has ever faced” He added.

While talking on the issue the Indian foreign secretary he explained that India has lost the lives of our soldiers at LAC which never happened in the past 4 decades. And the situation is far worse than it was in 1962.

Just a few hours after the meeting was planed between Indian and Chinese defense minister in the sideline of Shanghai Cooperation Organization meet in Moscow.

He said that China is attempting to take unilateral actions to change the status quo at the borders. But India and our troops will be firm and will defend our territory. And there will be no compromise on national security.

The meet between Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and his Chinese counterpart took place yesterday, but again ended inconclusively.

The Chinese state-run mouthpiece ‘The Global Times’ reacted to the conclusion of the meet by blaming India for any escalation at the line of actual control. Which means the meet ended without any solution for the ongoing standoff.

The standoff started when the Chinese People’s Liberation Army troops intruded into the Indian Territory along the Indochina border(LAC). India reacted sharply to the escalation by China and deployed numerous troops along LAC.

Indian Foreign Secretary told the press that India is willing to resolve all border disputes with China peacefully. But due to Chinese aggression, there cannot be business as usual with Chinese.

Unless peace and tranquility return in border areas. A Sharp reply with insight into what India and its policymakers have in store for these talks.

Foreign Secretary also warned the Chinese side that the normal interactive and bilateral relations between China and India will be affected due to this escalation at Indochina borders along LAC.

He advised the Chinese government to revert to the previous status quo at the Line of Actual Control before the aggressive intrusion by Chinese PLA began. Pull back PLA troops and disengage from. These standoff areas.

The message is very clear India will not back down but will give a benefiting response to the Chinese aggression at LAC.
