Tibetan youths ditching China’s own Special Frontier Forces counterfeit

People’s Liberation Army of China, facing new challenges in the occupied Tibetian frontier.

As per the Chinese webido user who goes by the name ‘Ching Maou’ a PLA Military expert. China’s new initiative to create a new militia comprising local Tibetian youths has failed miserably. As per the reports, the People’s Liberation Army is finding it hard to trust the Tibetan youths. Who are often getting into a fight with the occupying Chinese troops. Many in PLA fear this could pay the way for major revolt among the PLA ranks if the situation not brought under control.

The news has come at the backdrop of reports claiming China is raising new militia units comprising local Tibetan youth for high-altitude warfare near Eastern Ladakh.

The units named Minmang Cheton are presently undergoing training. The move has come at the time when Chinese PLA troops suffered heavy casualties at the hands of the Indian Army Soldiers in the recent Ladakh border standoff. It is been accepted that China has suffered heavy casualties during an intrusion attempt into the Indian territory.

The Indian Forces said to have unleashed the most secretive Special Frontier Force (SFF). The Special Frontier Force (SFF) is an Indian special operations unit created on 14 November 1962. It mainly comprised Tibetan refugees living in India.

Now it has increased in size and scope of operations. Its primary goal originally was to conduct covert operations behind Chinese lines in the event of another Sino-Indian War.

Throughout its history, SFF has fought in India’s major external wars including the Bangladesh Liberation War and the Kargil War. It has also been involved in internal security, including Operation Blue Star and also serving as the “Personal Force” of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi to suppress opposition parties during the state of emergency from 1975 to 1977.

It has been part of border operations against China, including the 2020 China–India skirmishes.

During the 2020 China–India skirmishes, SFF was reported to have conducted operations along the LAC, including the capture of heights in the South Pangong Tso range.

In another incident, an official statement by the Indian Army read: “Indian troops pre-empted this PLA activity on the southern bank of Pangong Tso, undertook measures to strengthen our positions and thwart Chinese intentions to unilaterally change facts on the ground”. During this operation, on 1 September 2020, company leader Nyima Tenzin died in a landmine blast while undertaking a reconnaissance mission along the line of actual control.

These incidents took the Chinese PLA by surprise. Later which PLA retreated from the intruded Indian territories. China’s governmental agencies said to have warned President Xi, about the possible uprising of the Tibetan people under the Chinese occupation.

PLA charted out a plan to counter the defeat at the hands of the Indian Army and their Tibetan Special Force Units. But China’s move to brainwash the Tibet youths has not gone very well. Reports of brawling and discomforts reported from the camp. Chinese social media is buzzing with lots of insider reports. In one such incident, a Tibetan trainee has smashed a Chinese soldier’s head during a heated up conversation on Communist Regime. In another case, many Tibetan trainees were made to eat spoiled food in front of other soldiers.

China might plan to abandon its plan to recruit Tibetan Youths to fight against India. Which gave asylum to millions of Tibetans escapees and refugees for decades since China invaded their country. Experts mock the failed attempts of China to counterfeit the Indian Army’s potent special force. After all, China must understand, fake Chinese products don’t last long!
